Hot water 24×7 9. Power inverter (Power all the time) 10. Halls in each floor where you can sit and relax outside of your room 11. A/C available in all rooms 12. Lockers in each room where you can store valuable things 13. One key. No one can open the room including the hotel guest service who changes linens. 14. Kettle for making tea or coffee 15. Small refrigerator Cons: 1. A vehicle can’t reach the hotel as its next to temple 2. Luggage has to be carried by someone to and from the hotel to the parking. (Hotel service will take care) Note: I have personally observed and writing this note. I am sorry to say but most of the food is adulterated. But in this hotel restaurant, they prepare everything fresh with all genuine ingredients. From a business standpoint, I would say their restaurant is a failure as they are spending more than what they get. Hotel on the other side gets decent amount. But when I enquired about why they are spending more amount on the restaurant than what they are receiving, I was amazed to hear that they are treating it as a seva in the name of Maa Kamakhya to provide high quality and standard food for a very reasonable price. I was flattered and wished Maa Kamakhya return 10 fold in return for the seva. Breakfast buffet – 150/- Food thali – 270/- Noodles – 150/- Paratha – 80/- You can get other things but we tried only the above Try butter dal kichdi here.

Secondly, the hotel has very good restaurant attached, in the cellar. Food quality is great, though a bit costly. The rooms are neat and nice. The staff, reception and overall service is excellent. The hotel sent two boys to carry our luggage and one DOLLY to carry our aunty who could not climb the stairs. There are more than one hundred steps to climb, and few hundred meters to walk to reach the Temple as well as hotel – the hotel building is just adjacent to the temple compound. Once you reach hotel, you don’t have to climb not a single steps to reach the temple. Our stay in the Shree Moyee Inn is memorable. We sure want to stay in this hotel only during our next visit and recommend our friends and relatives to choose this hotel only.

I booked two double bed deluxe rooms whose charges were 3136/- per day for each room. I visited in the first week of October. The rooms were too cramped. The… read more bed, almirah and other furniture are so close to each other that it becomes quite difficult to place and open luggage bags. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast was complimentary. For breakfast there was Poha, Puri Bhaji, Dosa, Bread, Butter and Jam, Tea and coffee. The food was good. It was a room for 2 but 3 people were allowed to stay. Complimentary breakfast was for 2 people but if 1 extra person is staying, you’ll need to pay 150/- for a complimentary breakfast. The tariffs mentioned may vary as per the season and demand. But mentioning this just for your reference. One suggestion, if you are planning to go for Guwahati Sightseeing you should hire from outside instead of booking through the hotel itself. You can bargain if you are hiring cab from outside. Best part of the hotel is that it is next to the Kamakhya Devi Temple. Also, I felt the charges are too high in comparison to the facility this hotel provides.
