Excellent location. Shreemoyee Inn is adjacent to Maa Kamakhya temple and two minutes walkable distance. Rooms are equipped with all facilities including a mini fridge. The owner Mr Ratulda Sharma and his wife take care of guests like a family. The girl at the reception is very hospitable and welcoming. Staffs are very polite and helpful. They have arrangements for transportation also. From vip parking area taxis are available all the time. We reap the benefits of the location as we can have early morning access to the temple in two minutes. This is an amazing place to stay when you are coming for darshan at Kamakhya Temple.

I booked two double bed deluxe rooms whose charges were 3136/- per day for each room. I visited in the first week of October. The rooms were too cramped. The… read more bed, almirah and other furniture are so close to each other that it becomes quite difficult to place and open luggage bags. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast was complimentary. For breakfast there was Poha, Puri Bhaji, Dosa, Bread, Butter and Jam, Tea and coffee. The food was good. It was a room for 2 but 3 people were allowed to stay. Complimentary breakfast was for 2 people but if 1 extra person is staying, you’ll need to pay 150/- for a complimentary breakfast. The tariffs mentioned may vary as per the season and demand. But mentioning this just for your reference. One suggestion, if you are planning to go for Guwahati Sightseeing you should hire from outside instead of booking through the hotel itself. You can bargain if you are hiring cab from outside. Best part of the hotel is that it is next to the Kamakhya Devi Temple. Also, I felt the charges are too high in comparison to the facility this hotel provides.

The manager and cook were kind enough to head to our request for dinner for 130 people. The rooms are clean, neat. Food was good and tasty. Will surely be staying at this place often.

But in this hotel restaurant, they prepare everything fresh with all genuine ingredients. From a business standpoint, I would say their restaurant is a failure as they are spending more than what they get. Hotel on the other side gets decent amount. But when I enquired about why they are spending more amount on the restaurant than what they are receiving, I was amazed to hear that they are treating it as a seva in the name of Maa Kamakhya to provide high quality and standard food for a very reasonable price. I was flattered and wished Maa Kamakhya return 10 fold in return for the seva.
